Being the useful answer
Your website should answer the questions customers ask before they call, in the words they already use.
Before someone picks up the phone, they usually have a question. Often more than one. If your website answers it, they call. If it doesn’t, they keep looking.
The questions come before the call
Think of an electrician. Before anyone books, they want to know a few things. Do you put in car chargers at home? Are you licensed? How soon can you come out? Do you work on Saturdays? Roughly what does a panel upgrade cost? Do you come out to my town?
None of these are unusual. Every electrician hears them every week. But most electricians’ websites answer almost none of them. The answers live in the owner’s head, and in the phone calls they take all day.
People ask in full sentences now
People don’t only type two words into a search box anymore. They ask whole questions — in search, on their phone, and to the assistants they talk to. “Who can install a car charger near me this week?” is a real question someone asks.
A website that answers questions like that, plainly and in the customer’s own words, is useful to whoever is asking. That is what a useful answer looks like: specific, honest and easy to find.
The answers already exist
You have been answering these questions for years. Your reviews mention how fast you showed up and how fair the price was. Your profiles list your hours and your license. Your customers use their own words for the work, and those words are worth keeping.
That information is spread across many places. Your own website is where it can all sit together, so a customer gets the full answer without hunting for it.
You approve, you don’t write
You don’t need to sit down and write a page of questions and answers. We start from what your business has already said in public, turn it into clear answers on a website you own, and show you the result. You correct what’s off and add what’s missing.
What we can and can’t promise
Nobody can honestly promise that your answer is the one a search or an assistant will pick. What we can do is make sure the answer is there, on your own website, in words your customers already use.
