Being found in search
Your website should say plainly what your business does — every service, in the words people search for.
Most owners judge a website by how it looks. Does it load? Does it work on a phone? Are the photos good? Those things matter. But a site can pass every one of those checks and still leave out most of what the business does.
Looking finished is not the same as being complete
Your website can look perfectly fine and still be structurally incomplete. Nothing on it is wrong. It just doesn’t say enough.
Picture a cleaning company that does weekly house cleaning, move-out cleans, deep cleans before the holidays and office cleaning on weekends. Its website has a good photo, a phone number and one line: “Professional cleaning services.” Every one of those jobs is real. Only one vague sentence made it onto the site.
People search for the job, not the business name
Someone who already knows you can find you by name. Someone who doesn’t will type the job they need done — “move-out cleaning,” “weekend office cleaning.” If your site never says you do that, there is nothing for that search to find.
That is the gap. It isn’t a design problem. It’s a missing-words problem: the site is quiet about the very things people go looking for.
What a complete site says
A complete site answers three questions without making anyone dig for them:
- Who you are. Your business, its name, and the reasons to trust it.
- What you do. Each service you offer, named plainly and given its own space — not folded into one line on a list.
- Where you do it. The towns and neighborhoods you actually serve.
When each service has its own clear place, a visitor sees straight away that you do the thing they came for. So does anyone trying to work out what your business is.
Built from what you already have
You don’t need to write any of this. Your services are usually described somewhere already — in your reviews, your profiles and the work you post. We start there, give each service a clear place on a website you own, and show you the result. You tell us what’s right and what to change.
What we can and can’t promise
Nobody can honestly promise where you’ll appear in search. What we can do is make sure that when someone looks for what you do, your website actually says you do it.
